Even though Harry’s fame and fortune came at the cost of his family. I know it’s a sex fic, but it woudn’t hurt to keep them just slightly in character! As well as pureblood which you know would have been a factor for Ron, no matter who his friends were. Ron sacrificed himself to save Harry in 1st year, he faced spiders to help Hermione even though it was his greatest fear in 2nd year, he was ready to sacrifice his life to save Hermione in DH, and he always defended her from any insult or harm, while Harry never did it. Ron has always been jealous of Harry. The Lovegoods and Weasleys were neighbors anyways.
