Sometime later that morning something woke me up. You say stuff like that but you’re like a million miles away.” Kathie said and growled… then broke into the giggles. Kathie had called her right after I got off the phone with her earlier. And you are the only one who knows it… besides me and now your mom.” I almost whispered. The auditorium had turned out to be a little chilly as they air conditioning had been turned up because of the large turnout. As we approached the car, I started to go around to the passenger side to open the door for her again, but she stopped me by just pulling my hand a little and stopped walking.
